Professional Advisory Committee

The Roscommon County Community Foundation, in an attempt to reach out to all community members in Roscommon County, launched a new program in 2006.

We have developed the Professional Advisors Committee (PAC), a diverse group of professionals throughout Roscommon County who utilize their expertise to help people meet their financial planning, real estate, tax, insurance and estate planning needs.

These professionals include Financial Advisors, Attorneys, Tax Consultants, Real Estate Brokers & Agents and Foundation Board Members, just to name a few. RCCF and the PAC members will work closely together with potential donors who may have questions or concerns when exploring their desires for estate planning, tax shelters, investments and charitable giving.

Estate planning is no longer a tool reserved only for the wealthy.

Often an individual’s desire to pass on a legacy, such as a family business, a lake front vacation home or a forest retreat, is defeated because the estate lacks liquidity to pay taxes and administer expenses. Sometimes, when an individual fails to establish a valid will, the property passes to people other than those desired.

Planning is essential for anyone who desires to direct how an estate will be distributed at the time of death. Years ago, you carefully planted the seeds of wealth, nurturing the growth of your assets along the way. Your estate matured into a legacy that you would like to preserve for your children and/or grandchildren.

The Professional Advisory Committee can help you design a plan to shelter your estate against the elements.Estate planning helps protect your estate against the erosion of estate taxes, meets liquidity needs, incorporates your business interests and arranges charitable gifts.

Preserve your estate for future generations with the expert advice of the Professional Advisors Committee.

More than ever before, charities like RCCF depend on people like you to support their important work.

But how do most of us make a difference, especially when we’re all so busy?

By making it convenient!

RCCF is now offering this service to our donors and potential donors. If you would like a one-on-one consultation with a PAC member, please use our contact form or call us  at 989-275-3112 and we will be happy to make arrangements.
