From the President: ‘Thank You’… Two Small Words That Can Mean So Much, But That Often Go Unsaid
The Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF) would not exist if it weren’t for our supporters. This support comes to us in many ways; through a wide variety of donors who give to existing Funds, through the many families, friends and organizations that initiate new Funds to support areas of need and interest within our county, through our local businesses, organizations and individuals that support us by donating to the Ambassador Club Fund – supporting our Community Outreach projects and programs, through our volunteers that give time and sweat equity in ways too numerous to list here, and by our Board of Trustees who have learned what a “Working Board” really means. “Thank you!”
“Thank you” for allowing me to serve this community for the past ten years, May 15, 2002 through May 15, 2012. Time has gone by so quickly. I clearly remember my first days, being so nervous, not knowing what the expectations would be, how the community would welcome me, if I had the skill set required to do the job. I have made some mistakes along the way, but none of them huge. I believe that this community has embraced the efforts and initiatives that RCCF has put forward. I am proud of this Community Foundation and the small part I have had in serving our communities.
Let me say in advance, “Thank you” for taking a few moments to read through our 2011 Annual Report. I believe that you will be impressed with the amount of financial and community support that is driven by your Community Foundation.
We encourage you to join with your friends, neighbors, organizations and local businesses in supporting the RCCF, investing in your Community Foundation to enrich and improve the quality of life in our community. “Thank you!”
Yours in service,
Mary T. Fry President /CEO
