  • Houghton Lake High School SLS/SADD: $200 for Suicide Awareness Education
  • Crawford Roscommon Suicide Coalition: $100 for Equipment for a 5K run/walk
  • Houghton Lake Middle School: $1,000 for Camp McLeod scholarships
  • Houghton Lake Community Schools: $900 to purchase iPads for the Resource Room
  • Project H.O.P.E.: $1,500 for canned goods for the Food Bank

Roscommon County General Fund

  • Markey Township Parks & Recreation: $1,133 for the Markey Memorial Park Drinking Fountain concrete work
  • Gerrish Township: $1,250 for A.D.A. compliant playground equipment at Carlos Ave. Park.
  • Project H.O.P.E.: $1,000 for canned goods for the Food Bank
  • Camp Westminster: $1,200 to sponsor 4 Roscommon County Campers
  • Houghton Lake HS Cross Country Team: $400 for Warm up gear for the Cross Country team
  • Roscommon Youth Football League: $1,250 for Sports Safety Equipment

Houghton Lake Education Fund

  • Houghton Lake Middle School: $2,500 (2 grants) for the 4th grade Technology Upgrade
  • Houghton Lake Community Schools: $1,250 for the Science Room Electrical Power Poles
  • Houghton Lake Community Schools: $1,250 to purchase iPads for the Technology Innovation project
  • Houghton Lake HS Cross Country Team: $425 (2 grants) for Sport Equipment and Warm up gear for the Cross Country team
  • Houghton Lake High School SLS/SADD: $775 for Suicide Awareness Education

Gerrish-Higgins Roscommon Education Fund

  • Roscommon Area Public Schools: $300 to support the “Rewarding Academic Progress & Success” (R.A.P.S.) Club

Roscommon County Lakes & Rivers Fund

  • Huron Pines Resource Council: $175 for Postage and Marketing expenses.

Robert R. Thalner Endowment Fund

  • Higgins Lake Foundation: $1400 for the cost of printing brochures.
