Houghton Lake Community Education Receives Grant from RCCF to Attend Detroit Tigers Game

A group of students from Houghton Lake Community Education recently attended the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) and a Detroit Tigers Baseball game with help from a grant from the Roscommon County Community Foundation. The field trip was intended to expand the cultural experiences of the students by assisting with the cost of transportation, a meal and admission to both the DIA and the Tigers game. The grant was awarded from the Houghton Lake Education Fund ($1,500.00) and the Morley Foundation Fund ($239.25), both of which are Endowment Funds administered by RCCF.
