The iPod’s will be used to allow for research, dissemination of classroom ideas, immediate feedback during lessons and the ability to create digital content to share ideas. The iPod’s use Powerpoint and Word along with other programs and have the ability to interact with websites. In addition, they contain a vocabulary app, a dictionary and thesaurus, news and media studies applications and an interactive Learn the States program.

The grant was awarded from the Roscommon County Kellogg Youth Fund, an Endowment Fund administered by RCCF, upon the recommendation of the Youth Advisory Council (YAC).
