Kirtland Community College Foundation Receives Grant for Student Food Pantry

The Kirtland Community College (KCC) Student Food Pantry was established in 2012 to provide healthy non-perishable food items to students who are having trouble making ends meet while pursuing their education at KCC. As part of the Student Services Department, the Food Pantry provides emergency help with food for the students and operates under the slogan of “Nourishing Bodies and Minds”.

This $500.00 grant, provided by the Roscommon County Tobacco Settlement Fund ($150.00) and the Marilyn Brown Memorial Fund ($350.00), both Endowment Funds of the Roscommon Count Community Foundation (RCCF), will be used to help supply the Student Food Pantry with the needed items to support the students.
