NMCAC receives grant from Roscommon County Health Services Fund

The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center (NMCAC) recently received a Grant for $3,000.00 from the Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF) to pay the Accreditation Application Fee for the Center.  The mission of  NMCAC  “is to prevent and educate the public on child abuse and neglect, as well as to reduce the trauma of child abuse and neglect by providing a timely, comprehensive and multidisciplinary response to allegations in a safe, agency-neutral, child-focused setting.”  Grant Funding was provided by the Roscommon County Health Services Fund.
