Project H.O.P.E Receives Grant to Help with the Purchase of Food for the Food Bank

The Roscommon County Community Foundation recently presented a $2,500.00 grant to Project H.O.P.E. to help with the purchase of food for the Food Bank. The Roscommon County Kellogg Youth Fund awarded $1,250.00 and the Morley Foundation Fund also awarded $1,250.00 for this grant. This grant specifically targets the purchase of canned goods to restock the shelves.

According to Project H.O.P.E. Coordinator Pam Stephan, the food bank currently serves between 800 and 900 people per month, and the need continues to grow.

The Food Bank is located in the old stone building at 2563 S. Gladwin Rd. in Prudenville and they can be reached at 366-5120.
