A grant provided by the Roscommon County Community Foundation – Roscommon County Kellogg Youth Fund will assist with the purchase of National Honor Society Lapel Pins. This will help provide pins to the 25 current members as well as the new incoming members this fall. The NHS Lapel Pins provide a token of distinction to the members among their peers.
Members of the National Honor Society must be either a junior or senior, maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average and be focused in the areas of Scholarship, Service, Leadership and Character. After receiving recommendations from three teachers,
candidates must then pass a final approval by a five person school faculty council and volunteer at least 20 hours of community service.
