Roscommon Area Youth Booster Club receives grant for 2014 Europe Trip

The Roscommon Area Youth Booster Club recently received a Grant totaling $2,078.32 from the Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF) to help support add-on project destinations for the Roscommon High School’s (RHS) 2014 Europe Trip. The funds were provided from the Sarah Eulaine Tucker (class of 1977) Fund. The add-on destinations included Paris by Night, Rome by Night and the Swiss Folklore Cultural Evening. The trip was designed as an educational tour for students to learn while traveling. According to Nikki Petrosky, RHS Teacher and trip organizer, one cannot travel without learning about art, architecture, culture and history. Since returning home the students’ perspectives and appreciation have grown and changed
dramatically.
