Alexa Ann Luck, 19, Roscommon, passed away March 19, 2013, on her way home from class at Kirtland Community College.
Family and friends of Alexa Luck, in loving memory, have established an Endowment Fund with the Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF), The Alexa A. Luck Memorial Fund.
In addition to the Memorial Fund, the RCCF Youth Advisory Council (YAC) will be taking donations to design and create a Memorial Garden, in conjunction with the Roscommon Historic Model Train Club, this spring as part of a YAC Community Service Project. The YAC were asked to assist with the design and landscaping of the new Train Club Garden, and have received permission to add a small bench and garden in Alexa’s memory. “Alexa’s Garden” will serve as a waiting area for parents and grandparents while youngsters of all ages ride the miniature train. The students are asking for donations to purchase a bench, landscape bricks and perennial flowers. “Alexa’s Garden” will stand as a permanent memorial for Alexa.
